Bishorn : Normal Route in one day from Zinal

Description de l'itinéraire
Single day outing. Start form Zinal early in the morning and hike with headlamps for the first ca. 2 hours. Even as we departed at 3 AM it wasn't too cold, later in the day the temperature started to become unpleasant (early start allowed us to only encounter that on the descent). Quite a bit of people, (almost) everyone apart from us started seems to have started from the hut. Good condition of the path to gain altitude quickly, as well as snow-no snow division. All in all an enjoyable outing :-)
Météo
Perfect, almost no clouds on the horizon, some started to appear later in the day.
Conditions
Good in general, nice firm snow during ascent, only small patches until the shelter and then continues after as you step on the glacier. On descent it started to melt and our legs were falling now and then, but it wasn't a huge issue.

- 15:00 Back in Zinal (after 30 min stop in the hut)
Commentaires sur le refuge
We didn't use it for the night, but it was open and the restaurant was serving food in the afternoon.
Commentaires personnels
Pleasant and easy route, in my opinion easier and better for the first 4000 than Gran Paradiso. Doing it in one go possible but physically exhausting, especially at the end of descent.
