Météo
Grand Beau, but an AWFUL lot of wind!
Conditions
No ice, lots of snow on the initial slabs made it tricky!
Observations relatives aux avalanches
We approached via the skislopes and Fiacaill-ridge instead of heading directly for the coire, because the avalanche report wasn't very positive about the NE-aspect. In the end avalanche danger proved to be negligible. The snow was much more consolidated than expected.
Commentaires personnels
A little tired after 4 days in Italy, 2 days at home and 7 days of climbing in Scotland beforehand. Fell out of the second pitch only 3m away from topping out (luckily on good gear, as is the nature of this pitch).
No signs of any recent passage.
