First opened in October 2017 by the team Les Ekiwibristes.
Mahinepua Bay, Northland, New Zealand.
GPS coordinates :
Parking : -34.999757, 173.843628
Highline : -34.990573, 173.854522

Where :
Park on the beach and walk approx. 40mn on the Mahinepua Bay trail. At the junction head left and walk another 10mn until you’re above a nice bay with a big tree on each side. The right side (looking at the sea) is the easier to access with a small trail, you’ll have to bushbash your way to the left tree.

Connection :
Throw a tagline from the left anchor down the slope. You can carefully make your way down from the right side in the steep grassy slopes, and connect the line.

Anchor 1 :
West side : one tree in the steep slope.
Anchor 2 :
East side : the obvious big Pohutukawa tree.

Gear :
East side : 1×4 m 1T spanset
West side : 1×3 m 1T spanset and 1×2 m 1T spanset (back up)

Notes :
Walk it with the sunset!
