Small climbing area near Maussane, where most of the routes face NNW; therefore, they are in the shade, but exposed to the mistral.
The site lays out in 4 major sectors:
- S face: 3 isolated routes at level 4, very short and good for beginners.
- N face: the first sector encountered is the beginner area, with 7 routes from 3 to 5a.
- N face: the second sector is for adepts, with 6 routes from 6a+ to 7a.
- N face: the last sector is for intermediates, with about a dozen routes from 4+ to 6a+.
A cable links most of the belay anchors.
Means of descent
Rappel or top-rope.
From Maussane, follow the St Martin de Crau road for 2km. In a wide bend to the left, take the right (signed "le Paradou"). The outcrop is soon visible. Park on the side of the road.
