This is the sector with most of the harder routes (8 pitches of 6b-6c), but also a dozen pleasant single pitch routes at 5a-5c to the right.
Means of descent
Abseil or top roping. From the top of Vent Sifle it is possible to join the upper pitches of the “Nain Jaune”.
Recommended “Fun Five” route, Vent Siflé
Starts just before the path ascends some man made steps, name on the rock.
P1 5b Up the corner to a belay in a niche beneath an overhang
P2 5c Escape the niche by the overhanging wall on the right then more easily up to the stance.
From the car park opposite the Notre Dame cable car, cross the river and through the park to a track which leads up to the foot of the crag at a mobile toilet. Signposted.
The sector is to the right, above the beginner’s area.
