An old limestone crag next to the road, therefore fairly polished. Mainly steep slab or vertical, rarely overhanging.
The climbing is mainly "technical" sometimes with bouldery starts
The crag has several sectors:
- Belle de Cadix et Turbostyle (sectors next to the road, towards Mégevette)
- Vert clair et Potion magique (sectors next to the road, opposite the lake Anthon)
- Rino (sector in the woods, before arriving at the lake take the path on the right for about 100m, then at a junction take the left fork for 50m before a path on the right again.)
On peut facilement y venir avec des enfants, le pied des voies étant herbeux et plat.
Attention toutefois à la proximité de la route!(Cette dernière n'est cependant pas très fréquentée en cours de journée.)
With the exception of the Rino sector, the crag gets the sun, (only until the start of the afternoon in winter). Therefore it dries quickly and so is a good alternative when the other crags are still wet.
From Cluses, go to Taninges, passing the col de Châtillon.
At Taninges, take the road to Mieussy, then go towards St-Jeoire(D907).
About 1km after Mieussy, take the turning on the right towards Mégevette(D226).
After about 2Km you arrive at the crag.
