Popular crag giving an excellent introduction into multipitch climbing. Often used by guided groups.
Means of descent
Either abseil back down the route, awkward if other climbers are about, or preferably follow the chains leftwards to an easy descent down ladders.

Pilier de Vallorcine
This route takes the obvious rib, (pillar) at the righthand end of the crag. Several variations are possible, generally the route is slightly easier on the right. Four pitches of 4a to 4c.
Crag Climbs in Chamonix Burnier, Potard Vamos 2005/2011
From the Vallorcine railway station/ski lift carpark take the little road across the railway and then turn right to walk through a field to a signpost pointing left for the “ecole d’escalade”. Follow the path upwards through the trees to the foot of the crag.
