There are 3 distinct sectors at Orgon:

  1. Le Canal: Le Canal offers climbing at a high level with several of the most difficult routes in France (Macumba, le Bronx, etc.).
Since the publication of the topo, numerous new routes have been equipped at Canal; here is some information about these new routes:
  2. hard section at the extreme left: ( en japonais )
  3. mellower section to the right: … 90640.html

  4. Beauregard (mostly SE-facing): Wall 4 is perfect for beginners, Wall 6b for progression, with beautiful, technical routes with holes, though somewhat polished. The outcrop passes into the shade in mid-afternoon.

  5. Vallée Heureuse (mostly N, NW-facing): 17 sectors, situated to the S of the camping. 10-20 minute approaches. According to the FFME website, this sector was closed to climbing after the 2012 fires.

Access to the massifs of Bouches-du-rhône is regulated during summer, from roughly the beginning of June through the end of September. The Canal and Beauregard sectors are designated «ZAPEF» (access authorized all day during red-level fire hazard).

pedestrian access

Take Exit 25 off the A6 (Cavaillon). After the toll booths, take the D26 in the direction of the village of Orgon. For Canal, take the little road S, and under the rails on the right.

For Beauregard, take the ND Beauregard, and park up high then descend to the cliffs.

For Colline, park near the camping. Warning: park before the barriers!
