Approach approx. 20min

From parking at the quarry below the Col de la Colombière, go up onto the earth mound on the right and follow the path, SW, to its end. Take a horizontal path, which goes along the base of the crag.
The route starts up an easy slab, (bolts) under an open cave with a tree in it, the first pitch avoiding the roof on the right.
It is also possible to park as for the via ferrata du Jallouvre.

Jallouvre, South Face
Jallouvre, South Face

Route

L1 5b The easy slab then a wall on the right, strenuous
L2 5a Steep with good holds. (Look for the abseil point)
L3 4b
L4 6a With and without runnels (cannelures), two to three harder moves at the start (5m). The crux pitch.

Liaison Descend to the left for 20m by abseil to an exposed, grassy and rocky terrace.

L5 5c Beautiful slab with runnels. Harder (5c+) if you look for difficulties.
L6 5a A steep pitch on big holds.

Descent

Abseil down the route.
The first three abseils are from the belays of pitches 5 and 6. The third abseil brings you to a large grassy ledge. Traverse to the right (facing in) to get to the belay at the top of pitch two and the fourth abseil (a small cairn marks the abseil point and it is worth finding it on the way up at the top of pitch 2.) You can protect the traverse with a sling around a spike at the start and a threaded sling is in place on the traverse. The 5th and last abseil is from the top of pitch 1.
Return to the parking by the approach path.
