From la Revenette, follow the Bise/Ubine road for about 1km and leave it to follow the second forest track on the right. Cross the water course to the S to reach the foot of the Ubine canyon. Follow this to the first, enclosed icefall.

P1 40 to 50m Chain belay at ground level. Walk to the second step.
P2 2nd very enclosed icefall, bolt belay at the top
P3 The continuation is often badly formed and you may need to pass it on the right. (You pass near an old hand rail.)
Continue, using the true right bank if there is not much ice, until point 1204 on the map where you cross a forest track and then follow the path on the true left bank.
Where this makes a marked turn to the right, leave it to the left to regain the bed of the torrent. You pass the base of some rock bands and arrive at the foot of steep, enclosed gorge, (rock arch,) with an iced step. Belay chain at the top. This leads to a fourth step,
P4 Fairly broad and for about 12m fairly steep. Chain belays both on the right and the left.
Continue up several, easy steps and exit on the left, (true right bank,) to reach the road just before the alpage d'Ubine.

By the Ubine road or the true right bank of the Ubine canyon (path) until the starting point and then back to the road.

4 or 5 steps, separated by easy sections. Be careful of the rock pools. Some of them are very deep, (7-8m).
There is usually a chain belay at the top of each step, (sometimes hidden under the snow.)
The canyon is equipped for canyoning, now forbidden since a storm in 1999, which brought down a lot of trees in the canyon
