description

Approach

Go up the gully above Albertans, (the gorge 500m to the left of la Dame du Lac), to reach the cliff in 45min. The same approach as for "Les Brumes d'Avalon" and "Les Larmes de Merlins".

Route

A succession of steps. Depending on the line the difficulty varies from 3 to 4.
4 pitches with an abseil of 60m. No in situ belays Tree belay at the top.
There can be a lot of snow sloughs/spindrift avalanches in the gorge. It is usually best to keep to the true right bank, (left looking upwards.)

Descent

Needs further elaboration!
Exit on the right and start descending the forest. Make 2 long abseils, (60m ropes) through the pines. A third abseil of 10m brings you to a small pine tree. Then another 60m abseil to reach, just, a ledge from where one down climbs for 10m.

remarks

The descent is not obvious. Easier with 70m ropes
