description

Younger sister route to Kalinka at a similar grade.

Access Just after Sembrancher turn off towards Verbier and the almost straight away take the road on the left to the col des Planches.
Parking for 3 cars just after the second bend after passing through Vens, (with a farm below).

Approach 20 to 25 mins
Take the farm road, (no entry for cars,) until the first bend (100m) and then take the footpath which rises to the right.
After about 80m, take a footpath on the left, cairn, easy to miss. The path starts off horizontally. Be careful to follow the cairns and newly painted, (2017,) red marks. Keep trending rightwards and do not initially descend directly downwards, though the track later on descends steeply.
After about 20mins the path passes about 15m below rocks with a large diagonal overhang with a slab trending leftwards underneath it.This is the start of "Kalinka". Carry on around the corner and diagonally up across a scree gully, fixed rope, to another rock rib, 2 bolts clearly visible on a slab. This is the start of "La Suite Logique", (name re-painted on the rock.)
N.B. The approach demands respect, especially if damp (T3/4).

Route 2 to 3hrs
P1 5b+ 20m A bit physical to a hanging chain belay. (It is possible to continue up P2 but beware of rope drag.)
P2 4c 20m Corner then slab. Chain belay.
P3 4b 25m Ridge. Belay on 2 bolts, (not linked.)
P4 2 30m From the 3rd belay go up the left side, (true right) of the gully and then scramble up , (1 bolt) to a two bolt belay, (not linked).
P5 5b 25m Steep and sustained slab, Chain belay. (Long reach where some rock has fallen off.)
P6 5a 20m Small pillar. Chain belay.
P7 5a 25m Corner then slab, sustained. Chain belay.
P8 5b 20m A wall then a steep crack to finish. Chain belay.

Descent 10 to 15 min
Follow the faint path to the right and upwards to reach a more important path which leads down and rightwards, past the cairn indicating the start of the descent path, to the road.

remarks

One needs to take care on the approach. (Apparently there is an abseil approach and there is some fixed gear in the gully, looks worse!)
One of the easiest descents!
The rock needs treated with care in a few places but is now mostly sound with use.
