Small, (65m high), slabby limestone cliff close to the car park, with some 30 routes several with up to three pitches.
Excellent for initiation and families. Faces SE and so dries very quickly, but can be hot in summer.
Approach
From the Arve valley drive up to towards Flaine and just as you enter the village of Arâches turn left, (D6), to drive through La Frasse, about a kilometre after the junction. Just as you leave La Frasse and enter some woods there is a sharp turn off on the right, by a little chapel, which leads directly into a small, disused quarry. (Table, bench and toilettes.) The climbs start less than a minute's walk up the track on the right.
